About Glenhurst
Glenhurst was originally named Froebel House, a school established by Mrs Prentice on the site of an old glove factory at Bedhampton. The school then re-located, and was founded in its present name by the Miss Curry sisters in 1958. Glenhurst Nursery and Pre-School was officially opened in October 2006. |
Glenhurst Nursery, Pre-School and Infant School provides a well-rounded education in a healthy and happy environment, to suit the needs of the individual child. Class sizes are small, ensuring that teachers know each child as an individual and can cater for their specific needs.
Glenhurst encourages good manners and behaviour. Children are taught by example to become thoughtful, caring individuals. |
Equal Opportunities
Discrimination on grounds of gender, race or disability is not tolerated and teachers look for opportunities to raise children's awareness of these issues. Glenhurst welcomes children with special needs and we believe this benefits all children by developing the values of caring and understanding.
The children in our care are all valued as individuals and each is an important member of the Glenhurst family. |
